SW2140/Lecture/A2 - Community, Northern & Rural Practice | Credits 3.00
This course introduces students to the legal, political, and economic contexts and challenges of practicing in rural and northern settings. Theories, concepts and policies applicable to the more generalist nature of social work practice in rural and northern communities will be examined. Note: Available to Social Work Diploma Students only Prerequisites: SW1000 (minimum grade of C (GPA 2.0)) Transfer: Refer to Transfer Alberta for most up to date information.
