The nature of macroeconomic systems are examined in relation to markets, national income analysis, aggregate demand and supply, the functions of money, commercial and central banking, monetary and fiscal policy, exchange rates, the balance of payments, and selected topics in analysis and policy. Current economy-wide issues will be discussed throughout the course. Prerequisite: BA1540 Transfer: Refer to the Transfer Alberta website for up to date information.
