This course covers a range of topics in applied mechanics including forces and friction, work, power, energy, linear and angular motion, simple machines, pressure, density, and flow. In thermodynamics, heat, state change, calorimetry, thermal expansion, heat transfer, steam properties with calculations and gas laws with calculations will be covered. Prerequisites: 4th class power engineering certificate of competency
