EM2020/Lecture/HY - Paramedic Foundations II | Credits 6.00
The student will apply new theory and incorporate practical skills, history, assessment, clinical presentation, and diagnostic findings of the ill or injured patient to determine a provisional diagnosis utilizing differential diagnoses and develop an appropriate treatment plan. Students will integrate all knowledge and skills to manage calls for the delivery of safe patient care and promote optimal outcomes. Integration of all these components is critical to address the multiple medical and traumatic conditions encountered in the field. The student will demonstrate proficiency in the application of all competencies in a Skills, Scenario, and Simulation environment. Prerequisites: A minimum grade of B- (70-72%) in EM1020. Corequisites: EM1600, EM2030, EM2300, EM2500, and WR1100.
