BA2120/Lecture/A3 - Intermediate Accounting II | Credits 3.00
This course continues the in-depth examination of financial accounting introduced in BA2110. Issues in accounting valuation and income determination and the related disclosure practices and reporting procedures, as recommended by professional accounting associations and applied in business today, are emphasized. The focus is on the capitalization of Canadian corporations and the individual reporting problems associated with corporate income taxes, pensions, leases and the Statement of Cash Flow. The application of accounting concepts to these special areas is discussed. Prerequisites: BA2110 Transfer: Refer to the Transfer Alberta website for up to date information.
